The company is founded by Yassell Lopez Rodriguez, professional dancer and dance teacher from Havana, Cuba.
We focus ourselves on developing our students skills through detailed dance programs in our studio located in the heart of OSLO.
With a more personalized concept, is time to concentrate in quality over quantity. Say Good-bye to big group classes. For us is important to be connected to each student and help them to fulfill their dance goals.
Our expertise and years of experience in the dance world, have created the Yassballet trademark to be establish in the nordic countries for over 12 years.

Teachers
Yassell Lopez Rodriguez
Professional Dancer and Dance teacher from Cuba. Winner of the Cuban National Salsa Championship "Bailar es Algo Más", the most important one year competition for Cuban Salsa and Cuban Traditional Dances in Havana, Cuba and director of "Yassballet" in OSLO, Norway.

Graduated at Escuela de Instructores de Arte in Havana in 2008 and with only 15 years started Yassell his own Dance School in Cuba, for children and youth, teaching classical ballet and cuban popular dances.
The Cuban National TV and several dance companies in Havana are in Yassell´s curriculum. His passion for the stage and the show world allows him to create Musical Productions, where beside being one of the performing dancers, he was also responsible for all make-up, design and production of all costumes, choreography, scenography and dancer's selection.
In 2009 he completed his studies as Artistic Director at Artes Escenicas Center in Havanna
From 2012 until 2021 Had Yassell directed a successful dance school called ESCUELA CUBANA de DANZA YASSBALLET in Gothenburg, Sweden, allowing himself to establish the Yassballet name throughout Europe in international events.
In 2018, graduated Yassell as FASHION DESIGNER from ISTITUTO MARANGONI in MILAN, Italy.
Today Yassell runs YASSBALLET in OSLO and his fashion brand "YASSELL LOPEZ" (www.yasselllopez.com)
